We’re NOT kidding.
In an article released by sportal.bg, Bulgarian Volleyball Federation Vice President Lubo Ganev reveals that they are currently working on getting Cuban middle blocker Robertlandy Simon naturalized so he can play for the national team. They all have the documents needed by the FIVB and that they are willing to go through the 2 year wait before Simon is allowed to play for another country.
ITALY SAYS: We have Juantorena!
POLSKA SAYS: But we have the best players with us starting next year and he is Wilfredo Leon!
BRAZIL SAYS: Hold my beer. We will have Leal in 2019 also.
BULGARIA: Well, Simon will be with us – soon.

Simon, who recently became a dad is currently in Italy to play for Lube Volley.
